Amazon eliminates 1,300 jobs.
This Tuesday, Jeff Bezos CEO of Amazon.com announced he will cut his workforce by 15%, or 1,300 jobs.

Amazon's news comes as no surprise considering others havn't faired well either. Amazon doesn't think they will be profitable until the 4th quarter of 2001. Despite these hardships, Jeff Bezos remains happy about his companies performance and looks forward to his companies growth.

In an interview with CNBC, Jeff Bezos said that closing one of their Customer Service centers in Seattle Washington will not affect overall Customer Service, and that closing a Distribution center in McDonough, Ga. will help them streamline thier business model.
