Abe Silverstein dies at 92, and more meaning surfaces about Apollo.
apollo A·pol·lo (-pl) n.
Greek Mythology. The god of prophecy, music, medicine, and poetry, sometimes identified with the sun.
Abe Silverstein, the man who is credited for naming the "Apollo" missions to the moon died Sunday June 3rd, 2001 at the age of 92. Abe had been suffering for years from congestive heart failure.
Apollo, is it just a name, just a word, or something deeper? Herein I delve into just what things are and have Apollo names and the like attached to them.
Apollo first of all, as you see above is Greek, and the Greek god of Prophecy, and let's not forget music and poetry. In all relative terms, the Apollo missions had no significance with Space until well, the Apollo missions where Abe so named them.
It's not a new controversy, but it's certainly debatable whether or not we went to the moon with the Apollo missions, and just recently there has been much talk about that very subject. Did we or didn't we land on the moon? 20th Century Fox recently aired a little more than a month ago a 1 hour special on whether or not we even went to the moon with Apollo.
The subject of whether or not we went to the moon is simply some foundation of Apollo, and it's recent coverage in the media. I do not wish to debate that here and now.
I recently spoke with a great friend of mine, Michael Fairchild (the worlds most renound Jimi Hendrix Scholar) tonight, telling him some synchronicity with Apollo I had today. Late Sunday, and early Monday morning I was made aware of an Apollo reference in Reveleation, specifically in 9:3, but in 9:1 referencing a "star" that pierces the Abyss, which is controlled by Apollyon, in greek, the destroyer.
Delving even deeper, and knowing Michael would be interested because of his knowledge of Jimi Hendrix and his book RockProphecy.com, I decided to check for a reference between NASA, Apollo and an Asteroid. What I found was what was suspected, and was the Near Earth Object Apollo (asteroid) on a trajectory near earth in the year 2005 and 2007.
I was even more surprised to find Khufu another Asteroid having been Egyptian named, but lets focus on Apollo here.
Apollo being the God of Prophecy, and even more music, had significance to Michael and RockProphecy specifically with a Jimi Hendrix prophecy about a rock/asteroid. Previously, I connected this to the asteroid named EROS, a landing on it, and Microsofts' choice for the "XP - Experience" name for it's next Windows and Office products, also in significance to Michael and Jimi Hendrix. The Apollo significance is also undisputable here. First of all, there is NO COINCIDENCE, and we all live in synchronicity.
apollyon \A*pol"ly*on\, n. [Gr. ? destroying, fr. ?, ?, to destroy utterly; ? from, entirely + ? to destroy.] The Destroyer; -- a name used --(Rev. ix. 11) for the angel of the bottomless pit, answering to the Hebrew Abaddon.
Naturally, I researched even deeper, but the significance is that Apollyon is in revelation, it deals with the prophecy of the "BIG CHANGE", Apollo is the greek god of prophecy, music, and poetry, and Apollo is an asteroid named by NASA, and on trajectory for earth in 2005 and 2007. Michael from his deciphering of Jimi Hendrix says 50 years till an asteroid hits us, and John Young said basically now or later.
What I found next was a quote from Astronaut John Young - Gemini and Apollo Veteran, right here in Albuquerque, NM from Space.com on March 31st. The article was entitled "Asteroid Busting: We Have the Technology". I too have told Michael many times we can defend Earth, our home, from catastrophic destruction from a far, but from within is another story. Young said this: "From what I know about impacts, sooner or later we're going to get taken out," --- "The problem right now is that we don't know when that 'sooner or later' is. It could be tomorrow it could be 10,000, or a hundred thousand years from now,"
Young went on to say: "Earth is likely to take a hit from a nearly 0.6 mile (1.6-kilometer) wide or larger diameter asteroid in the next 50 years. A giant wallop would set civilization back 10,000 years" --- "The human exploration of space is what it's all about, as far as I'm concerned. I say let's get on with it because we may not have a lot of time,"
Do I think we can defend ourselves from a massive asteroid impact? Yes. Will we? I can't say. Significance is all around us with the knowledge to understand why. I'm going to touch on the significance of the Great Pyramids of Giza, namely Kufu in a later article, for now, just digest this information with an open mind.
