The most visible comet of 2001 is here, look at it.
The C/2001 A2 (LINEAR) is up there and on it's way tonight to make it's closest approach to Earth. C/2001 A2 was recently only visible from the southern hemisphere, but is now also visible by the naked eye in the northern hemisphere countries.

C/2001 A2 is another in a long string of comets discovered by and named after the Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) project, and in keeping with tradition bears the same name as several other recently visible comets.

C/2001 A2, beginning in its closest approach to the Sun on May 24th, had begun to break apart by March 30th when the comet had two sparks in brightness. Scientists believe it was these breakups that caused the sudden brightening events. The comet's brightness has been dimming since then.

Comb the sky and you're sure to see C/2001 A2 which has in the past few days taken on the appearance of the triangular shaped right angle glow.
