In an up and down year of Internet Advertising, now DoubleClick gets a new CFO.
DoubleClick Inc. , an online advertising company, said Tuesday Chief Financial Officer Stephen Collins will step down August 10.
DoubleClick, Inc provides Advertising for America's Multimedia Online.
DoubleClick, who has seen a cut in online ad spending has been cutting costs. DoubleClick stated last month that it expected lower revenues as it saw little sign of an ad rebound.
Sonar, once a division of DoubleClick has been re-obsorbed into DoubleClick Audience/Media as part of the recent cost cutting. The New York-based company said in a statement that Bruce Dalziel, previously vice president of finance and operations for the technology, data and research businesses, will become acting chief financial officer.
After August 10, Collins will continue to work with DoubleClick through the first quarter of 2002 on strategic initiatives, reporting to Chief Executive Kevin Ryan. The company said Collins has taken on other responsibilities within the company recently.
